In the Second Year at CSM, students will go deeper into Scripture than ever before.

 

Having read more than 40% of the Bible in First Year, we will be building off of the foundation set from that course of study to go more in-depth into understanding the narrative journey of the Bible.

 

You will be given the tools to develop in-depth exegetical study, by getting into the original Hebrew and Greek language and cultural implications of the texts.

 

We will look at specific motifs that are crucial to understanding the full scope of the Scriptures and their modern implications. And we will take a hard look at how some of our modern misunderstandings of these things need to be reconstructed for us to fully understand the amazing message of Jesus that we’ve been invited into.
